Business Model Innovation & Leadership (English)
Can you lead innovations in business models? Old business models don’t work anymore, so companies need to innovate. Do you have what it takes to lead imagination, to lead design, to lead creativity? Are you the leader that can develop new business concepts for existing products (intrapreneurship) or create a completely new business model? To become the next Jobs, Bezos or Branson, you will have to learn about leadership and you will have to learn about business model innovation.
Innovation of business is per definition an international activity; the world has become one marketplace. Only through creative entrepreneurial design can the businesses of tomorrow emerge. The leader for business innovation is a servant leader, a builder of ideas, a coach for design teams and a very good strategist.
The promise of the minor Innovation and Leadership is that you become a PROFESSIONAL CONSULTANT OF BUSINESS MODEL GENERATION The experience of the minor Innovation and Leadership is that you will train constantly to understand business modelling and improve yourself as a consultant in a very inspiring INNOVATION STUDIO. You will work with real companies and design new business models for these companies.
By the end of the minor you will have delivered an advice report for a company in their quest for BUSINESS MODEL INNOVATION. You will have co-operated with all other students to design business models for all the companies that are customer/partner in the INNOVATION STUDIO.
Extra: there is an intake procedure. For each group a maximum is set of 24 students.

This minor is a graduation component of the Business Administration course of NHL Stenden. Students from the course Business Administration (Dutch variant) and IBMS program have priority over students from other study programs
