Advanced Programming for Non-IT Students
No field in the world is conceivable without an ICT component. ICT applications are used at every level in business, education or government.
The minor Advanced Creative Programming for Non-IT Students continues where the minor Creative Programming for Non-IT Students stopped. Starting with an innovative idea within the expertise of the student, all skills required will be put to work to design and create a fully functional and interactive website or web service. This can be done individually or in a small team.
The minor covers 420 SBU = 15 EC. Within this module, work is done on competences related to the analysis, design and realization of applications, starting with a problem or innovative idea. This is in line with the competences as described in the Dutch HBO-I domain. We work individually and in groups. The workshops can be followed on location in Emmen and online.
This minor program is relevant for all subject area’s excluding ICT and Creative Technologies. It’s accessible for students who completed the minor Creative Programming for Non-IT Students.
Can only be followed completely online.
Language for the minor is Dutch unless native speakers register, then English.
The minor is open to every Applied Sciences student who successfully completed the minor Creative Programming for Non-IT Students.
During the minor, an own innovative concept for an interactive website or web service is systematically developed. On the basis of the project plan, the end product and a logbook, an assessment is used to test whether the competences have been achieved.
This minor starts in the 2nd and 4th period with sufficient participation. Lesson days are Wednesday and Thursday, online.
