Masterclass Strategic Marketing (2e semester, Aanvang Blok C)

The minor Masterclass Strategic Marketing Management of the Institute for Marketing & Commerce is aimed at students who want to add a strategic marketing management plus to their existing higher educational marketing level. These competences are the starting point, and will be developed further and in more depth.
We focus on the management of strategic marketing issues, in order to offer students sufficient knowledge, proficiency and skills, a deeper insight into complex, unstructured strategic marketing issues.
The backbone of this minor is a real-life marketing case team project for an existing SME company, in conjunction with NIMA, the Dutch Institute for Marketing, which is associated with the European Marketing Confederation.

Leerdoelen

The minor MSMM focuses on the management of strategic marketing issues, in order to offer students sufficient knowledge, proficiency and skills, a deeper insight into complex, unstructured strategic marketing issues.
This minor aims at enhancing students’ ability to convert opportunities into successful commercial activities. During the minor students take the formal NIMA B1 exam and they will be prepared for the formal NIMA B2 examination (equivalent to the certified and accredited European Marketing Confederation Marketing Manager degree).

This minor is offered both Block AB (1st semester) and in Block CD (2nd semester).

Ingangseisen

​To qualify for this minor students must have marketing knowledge and skills equivalent to the NIMA B1 level. In the course of the minor a formal test, for which students will be prepared, will take place.
