This minor in International Agribusiness will give you new insights into how agribusiness works in the Netherlands, Germany and Poland.This minor will be given jointly by the University of Applied Sciences, Osnabrück, Germany,Poznan University of Life Sciences, Poland, and HAS green academy, Venlo, the Netherlands. You will join an international group of students with whom you will spend 3 weeks in each country.This will give you an unforgettable experience, during which you will study and socialise together, sharing knowledge of each other's country, and making new friends at the same time.

You will gain knowledge about entrepreneurship in foreign countries and the influence of the political and economic environment. You will develop more feeling and understanding of the importance and position of the EU in accommodating a more level playing field and a common marketplace. Next to that you will develop more understanding of Dutch, German and Polish agriculture, business and culture; and you will experience cultural differences and the fun and difficulties of intercultural communication. In the end you are able to write, communicate and cooperate in English. you should have a knowledge of and affinity with agriculture or food production.

You start in February at one of the locations (Poznan, Osnabrück or Venlo). Every university will communicate their own schedule.

In the Netherlands you will work on some business cases. In Germany you will have a written test and in Poland you work on a project. Every institute decides the best way of assessing.
