Maritime and Port Management

Rotterdam is the largest and most sophisticated port in Europe. With visits of 29.000 seagoing vessels, 105.000 inland waterway vessels and 3.500 cargo trains every year, Rotterdam is an important node in the international network of trade and logistics. The Maritime and Port Management Minor is the best preparation for students who want to work on Bachelor level in an international maritime and transport environment.

The programme follows the logistic chain from maritime transportation of goods, via the port, towards the inland transport system and vice versa. Every year there is a studytrip, in previous years to London, Antwerp, Hamburg and Kuala Lumpur.
