I'M A.I. - Artificial Intelligence for Everyone (ENG)
The possibilities of Artificial Intelligence (AI) are endless. At least, that's the general perception. But what does this mean? What is the impact of AI in your domain? What are the opportunities for employing AI? As a future professional, this minor enables you to conduct research into the impact of AI on your future field of work within a multidisciplinary context of real projects.
This minor is intended for students who want to learn more about the role of AI and its impact on their future profession. Although an affinity with the underlying technology is always helpful, it is not the focus of the minor. Therefore, you will not learn programming, but instead, you will utilize existing software tools, knowledge, and of course, enthusiasm and creativity as much as possible.
Minor contentQuestions that you can explore within this minor include, for example: What AI tools are already available? How can you use them to make your work easier, better, faster, or wiser? What AI tools are still missing? What are the ethical, legal, and societal aspects of using AI in your domain? Or perhaps you have ideas for completely different questions that are relevant to you as a future professional, as the application area is the main focus of this minor!
For those students who want to learn more about AI and the underlying techniques, there is the option to follow an elective program that delves more into the technical side of AI. Do you want to develop AI yourself? Then perhaps the minor "I'M A.I. Artificial Intelligence for Image Data" is more suitable for you.
