Impact in Action: Real business challenges, Real solutions(ENG)
This minor isn’t about playing it safe—it’s about playing it smart.
It’s about recognizing that the world doesn’t need more people who only know their lane. It needs people who can navigate multiple lanes, merge ideas, and create something entirely new. That’s where real impact happens.
This minor gives you permission to think differently, to borrow from other worlds, and to become the kind of problem-solver businesses are desperately searching for. Are you ready to make a lasting impact?
In this minor, you will work on real business assignments. You will dive into challenges within the expertise of marketing, finance, logistics or international business, applying critical and problem-solving skills to deliver meaningful solutions for (international) companies.
You will develop an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset, learn how to navigate change, explore new (corporate) cultures, and build both professional and personal growth. This minor offers room for creativity, flexibility and experimentation, enabling you to strengthen your talents and give your career a significant boost.
This minor doesn’t just add a line to your transcript or credits to your grade overview—it adds dimensions to who you are and what you’re capable of creating in the world, accelerating your career.
This minor is offered by the following programmes: Commercial Economics, Finance & Control, International Business, and Logistics Management.
Leerdoelen
You’re not just choosing classes—you’re choosing possibilities.
Companies submit real business challenges, which you will tackle together with your fellow minor students. Alongside lecturers, experts and students from other programmes, you will form multidisciplinary teams where diverse perspectives lead to surprising insights and innovation that truly works in practice. You share one goal: to deliver a solution that works for the company and helps it move forward.
Many assignments in this minor come in via Greenwise Campus. For example: a company wants to introduce a new production method or launch a new product on the market. How do you organise that in terms of marketing, finance and logistics? That's where you come in.
You should expect around 10 contact hours per week (timetable to follow). You will work in a multidisciplinary manner and closely with the company. That is your client. So the 10 contact hours do not include visits and contacts with the company.
Ingangseisen
This minor is particularly suitable for students of economics and management programmes, but it also offers suitable assignments for students from other programmes who would like to learn about the business side of, for example, technology, healthcare, companies and organisations.
