Audiovisual Production (ENG) - 2025-2026
Audiovisual Production is designed for students who want to turn their creativity into powerful visual storytelling.
"Step into the world of visuals, storytelling, and content creation with the Audiovisual Production minor! In this hands-on programme, you’ll develop your own audiovisual format, produce a pilot, and pitch your concept to professionals in the media industry. Instead of writing reports, you’ll be behind the camera, in the editing suite, and working in a studio environment. Learn how to turn an idea into a high-quality media product — and how to reach your target audience. Ideal for bold, creative minds with a passion for media."
Why Audiovisual Production is right for me
• If your heart beats faster when you’re filming, editing, or developing media formats.
• If you want to become both a strategic and creative content creator.
• If you’re looking for a hands-on minor where you’ll create something that truly matters.
Leerdoelen
Throughout the Audiovisual Production minor, you’ll work on an end-to-end media project. You’ll develop a concept, research your audience, create a pilot, and pitch it to broadcasters or production companies. You’ll learn how to manage a production within budget, position your idea in the market, and assess its societal relevance. The focus lies on both creative and strategic thinking, paired with intensive practical training. You’ll work independently and in teams on projects that aim to make a real impact.
Rooster
For half the week, there will be lectures and training sessions at college. The other half of the week will be used by students to work on their own video productions. The minor is ‘hands-on’: you will do a lot of practical things that are great fun and also time-consuming. In the AV world, there is no 9-5 mentality: field and desk research, location visits, filming productions and editing are ongoing processes that do not always fit into set school hours.
Toetsing
Presentations, papers (research and essays) and delivery of video productions with all the associated documentation (planning, budgets, scripts, etc).
