Leerdoelen
During this minor, you’ll gain insights into the cultural sector and learn how to design, organise, and market meaningful cultural experiences. You’ll work on two major projects: one cultural experience for an external client, and one self-designed trip to a UNESCO Creative City. Using research, co-creation, and design-driven approaches, you’ll craft innovative solutions to real societal and cultural challenges. Guest lectures, workshops, and practical assignments provide a strong bridge between theory and application. By the end, you’ll master the full process—from concept to execution.
Ingangseisen
This minor is open to all bachelor students with an interest in culture, heritage, and creative concept development. If you have a broad perspective, a curious mindset, and a passion for meaningful experiences, this minor could be a great fit. Be sure to check your programme’s specific admission requirements.

Rooster
The schedule includes lectures, working sessions, and self-study time. You’ll work both individually and in project teams. There is plenty of room for fieldwork, site visits, and co-creation with external stakeholders. Several presentations are scheduled throughout the semester. Toward the end, you’ll go on the actual cultural trip to bring your concept to life. The schedule is structured yet allows for deep dives and creative freedom.
Toetsing
Assessment is based on practice-oriented assignments, presentations, and a final project. For both main assignments (cultural experience and international trip), you’ll deliver a design plan, an implementation proposal, and a reflection. The evaluation will focus on your creativity, professional growth, and value creation. Peer reviews and formative feedback will support you throughout the semester. Working closely with coaches and external partners, you’ll continuously sharpen your concepts and execution plans.
