With Boost Your Business, you will make significant progress in just five months. This is not a minor for plans or ideas, but for entrepreneurs who already have customers, generate revenue, and are ready for their next growth step.

You earn ECs by growing your own business. How valuable is that?

What makes Boost Your Business unique?
In this five-month program, you will work two days a week with full focus on your own company.
You will not do it alone:

• You will have your own business coach who guides you in achieving your growth goals.
• You gain access to a powerful network of partners, including Deloitte, Rabobank, Trip Advocaten, and RTV Noord.
• You learn directly from experienced entrepreneurs and professionals who help you with financing, marketing, communication, and legal matters.

You will also meet inspiring guest speakers, attend practical workshops, and visit successful companies.

Boost Your Business is the place where both you and your company will get a strong push toward success.

Who is it for?
This minor is designed for students who:

• Already own a business and generate revenue.
• Are ready to scale up, professionalize, and make an impact.
• Want to sharpen their strategy, positioning, and business model.
• Are ready to move beyond small steps and build something significant.

After a selection procedure, a small group of students will start in September as the “New Heroes of Boost Your Business.”

What to expect?

• Grow your existing business
• Personal guidance from a dedicated business coach

• Practice-oriented workshops and company visits
• Five months of real-world entrepreneurship – earning ECs for your growth

You will work on both your personal development and entrepreneurial skills.
You will learn how to:

• Optimize your business model using the Lean Canvas method and test your assumptions with test cards.
• Develop entrepreneurial behavior using effectuation principles.
• Gain self-insight through the ActionType test and create concrete development actions.
• Apply design thinking to your own product or service.
• Reflect regularly on your progress and growth as an entrepreneur.
• Understand the financial performance of your business.
• Strengthen your market position and improve your personal positioning.

Location: Groningen & Leeuwarden
Schedule: Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 10:00 - 17:00

Assessment: Written portfolio and oral presentation & interview.
