Have you always wanted to learn French, but never had the opportunity? Good news. Students can start a new adventure with our minor French Language and Culture for Beginners at THUAS. You will learn French at a basic level. By the end you will have reached the A2.1 level of the Common European Framework in reading, writing, listening and speaking. We will also pay attention to cultural aspects of the French speaking world. Your future in the French-speaking world begins here! 

Students following this minor will be able to achieve level A2.1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages

Basic Minor. Students whose mother language is French or have already A2 or higher level are not allowed to participate in this minor. The teachers reserve the right to expel students from the minor at any point should they have a higher level of the language.

Part D: Attendance: P/F. Students must attend a minimum of 75% of the classes. 

​​​​​​​Each exam needs to be a minimum of 4,5. 

The minimum overall passing grade for the minor is 5,5. 

Because of the fast pace of this minor, it is especially recommended to students who have experience in learning modern languages.
