minor Cross Cultural Business Skills explains exactly what works and what doesn't work in many selected countries of the world.

MOBILE MINOR: everything in this minor can be done on your smartphone! Practically all of the assignments, readings, meetings and lectures will be available right in the palm of your hand.

SCHEDULE: only classes on TUESDAY (campus - afternoon or evening for part-time), THURSDAY (online)

The student can:
Describe principles of effective cross-cultural communication for 30 selected national cultures.
Obtain applied research in the field of cross-cultural business communication.
Match the impact of national cultures during a one-week foreign project.
Be able to find professionals with the use of databases, social networks or via third (professional business) parties.
If you need to explain your choice at your own institute/programme: ask us our accreditation document,
containing everything you need to ask permission to join our course.

The minor ranks at European Qualifications Framwork (EQF) level 6, Bachelor Degree level, still quite some of its work touches Master Degree level.

The students intake-level for this minor is after the second study year, with an average understanding of the English language. We warmly welcome Kies-Op-Maat students.

- Our online MS Teams folder which is the mandatory depository.
- Almost every CCBS lecture is made available via YouTube.
- Recommended use of AUAS (HvA) and academic databases.

All campus classes are scheduled on Tuesday and online on Thursday. In a normal campus based model: plenary afternoon classes are from 15:20-17:00. You can also choose the evening classes from 18:40-21:30 hrs. Part-time students only have evening classes, full-time students also may have day-time thematic workshop days. Occasionally you will have a half hour MS Teams coaching appointment, we make appointments fitting your own schedule where possible. Almost all lessons are also offered via (masked) YouTube links, allowing you study when and where you want. We have several remote students each semester, studying from other countries and/or time-zones. All team assessments are done fully online with comments inside your team's Word documents, within the MS Teams app. Easy does it. You will like our working method and lessons, as said we received the highest student-evaluations for seven years in a row now.

The contact time consists of lectures, practical coaching, obtaining respondents worldwide and doing localised research.

Wanneer een student een onderdeel niet succesvol heeft afgerond in de onderwijsperiode waarin zij het onderwijs van de minor heeft gevolgd dan kan de student alsnog de minor afronden tijdens volgende onderwijsperiode(n) van de betreffende minor.

Wordt een minor niet meer aangeboden of is de inhoud van de minor herzien, dan biedt de opleiding in het daarop volgende studiejaar nog tweemaal de gelegenheid tot het afronden van de minor.
