Humanitarian Engineering (Transfer minor / doorstroom minor)
This transfer programme is designed for students who are passionate about sustainable development, humanitarian challenges, and creating meaningful, lasting change for underserved communities across the world.
Running from September to November (10 weeks), the programme prepares you for entry into the MSc Humanitarian Engineering at the University of Twente.

Ingangseisen
This programme is suitable for students interested in humanitarian engineering, humanitarian aid, sustainable development, global challenges, and related themes.
It is open to students from Higher Professional Education (HBO) who have:
- Completed at least 120 EC,
- Achieved consistently good academic results,
- Sufficient English proficiency,
- Sufficient mathematics background (VWO-B level).
It is your own responsibility to determine whether you need an official English certificate to demonstrate your proficiency and whether you meet the mathematics requirements.
Student enrolled in engineering or technical HBO programmes can be admitted to this transfer programme. These may include programmes such as Bouwkunde, Civiele Techniek, Elektrotechniek, Mechatronica, Indstrueel Product Ontwerpen, or Werktuigbouwkunde. Rooster
The transfer programme comprises 15 EC delivered over 10 full-time weeks in quartile 1 (September–November). All sessions take place on the University of Twente campus.
The detailed schedule will be published a few weeks before the start of the programme.

To be admitted to the MSc Humanitarian Engineering, you must complete this programme within one year, and subsequently obtain your HBO degree.
