Consulting in Sustainable International Business (English)
Enhance your practical and research-based consulting skills in the business sustainability field. In this minor IB students – and students from other disciplines – will engage into relevant field work and receive coaching, supervision, and expertise sessions on all the skills a sustainability applied consultant needs for reporting and communication of outcomes to different stakeholders.
This minor will enhance students’ practical and research-based consulting skills in the field of reporting and communicating the outcomes of sustainable international business operations, processes, and iniciatives to specific target groups, segments and the wider audience / public.
Students work in groups on an assignment for a real project or a real life company on a consultancy basis, considering the different stakeholders (internal and / or external). The supervision of this project will be done by IB coaches and experts. IB, and its research center.
Leerdoelen
The aim of this minor is to train students on how to approach, report, and communicate the outcomes of sustainable international business operations, processes, and initiatives to specific stakeholders.
Following a multidisciplinary approach, this minor will engage students into multi-sector business enterprises and will offer coaching, supervision, and guest/flash lectures and expertise sessions on research-based consulting skills.

The minor is intended for all study programmes.
Students from different faculties are eligible to attend this minor (also, those attended the Technology-enabled Business Sustainability, but this is not a prerequisite)

Rooster
Description of meetings: Multidisciplinary field work using elements from the Student in the Lead (SiTL) pedagogical approach via group works/workshops/individual assignments/flash and guest lectures and workshops.
Contact times: throughout the week during the day, 8 hours per week.

- Professional Product, 10 ECTS, weighting 60 %, minimum 5,5: TBD (presentation, poster, report, etc)
- Relationship & Self Management, 5 ECTS, weighting 40 %, minimum 5,5: Ongoing participation, class discussions, group collaboration
