What are you going to do?
In this minor you will work with a group of students from various study programs on a social issue that you choose based on your own interests (your challenge). You learn to build a community with relevant stakeholders who recognize the problem (coalition of the willing). And with your idea or solution you contribute in a sustainable way to the well-being of people and a better world (impact).
How do you do that?
You will attend various workshops on: Broad prosperity and new entrepreneurship Interdisciplinary collaboration with students from various study programmes Environment and stakeholder analysis Getting the coalition of the willing moving.
You want to contribute to a fair and sustainable society. You enjoy working with others and you prefer to work in practice, by trying things and actually doing them. All disciplines are welcome, the more diverse the better. You must, however, be in possession of your propaedeutic diploma.
This minor takes place in De Tussenruimte; a workplace where students, teachers, researchers, entrepreneurs and citizens in Breda can develop together in order to enable transitions in the region to broad prosperity and new entrepreneurship.

There ar no entry requirements. Students from all disciplines can participate, the more diverse the better!
Having your propedeuse is necessary.
There is no prescribed literature. For the workshops several sources will be provided to read/watch/research.
An introduction programme will give you the opportunity to meet your fellow students. Moreover, you will receive all the information you need about your program to have a successful start.
The minor is full-time and can be started twice a year (September and February) .
During the week there are several workshops in which we work on your competencies in:
- Well-being economy and new entrepreneurship
- Working transdisciplinary
- Learning and researching for transition
We start and end the week together and have two fixed moments for in depth study. The rest of the time you work on your challenge. During the whole week you can work at our own location, together with others.
At the end of the minor you will provide a suitable concept as the final part of your development to enable you gain a pass mark.
If you are an external Dutch student, please send an email to email@example.com before registering for Kies op Maat. Then we will reserve a place for you, but clearly state which minor you want to follow.
This minor falls under the Commercial Economics Breda (CE-B) course. You need this information for your enrollment in Studielink.
The minor will proceed with a minimum of 8 students.
