Innovation & Creativity (English)
Innovation is more important than ever. It is the key to creating new exciting things that can improve our lives and solve problems, big or small. Innovation is the engine driving progress, making the world a better place.
The minor Innovation and Creativity takes you on a journey through the process of innovation, generating new products, services or business opportunities. Not only the creative development of a new product, service or concept, but also bringing it onto the market. We teach students to put ideas into practice, to prototype and test, and consequently build successful entrepreneurial activities, as well as a more sustainable future.
Innovation: During the minor you follow workshops about the theory and practice of innovation, with topics like Trendwatching, Disruptive and Open Innovation, Business modelling as well as Leadership and Change Management.
Creativity: Creativity is one of the driving forces of innovation. You learn and apply creative thinking, brainstorming, prototyping, concept writing, concept visualization, storytelling, facilitating creative sessions, creative tools, and creative leadership. You explore and develop your own creative potential and skills.
Projects: During the minor we work for 2-3 real-life clients in different industries on an actual innovation challenge. In close collaboration with the client and your lecturers you work in different mixed multi-disciplinary groups of 4-5 international students. In the end you present your concepts, ready for implementation.
