Renewable Energy, Materials & Processing - Semester 1

Develop new renewable materials, learn more about renewable energy and apply chemical engineering to improve upcoming new technologies such as biomass digesters and biogas upgrading systems. This minor programme gives you all the tools to start your career in renewable energy, materials and processing.

During this minor, you will gain experience in organizing and executing projects in an international environment. You will work in groups of around 5 students, and focus on a large project in the field of renewable energy, materials and processing. These projects have been set by our own research institute and companies from the workfield. You will not only have to produce results, but also pay attention to the organisation of the project and the contact with the client.
There will also be theoretical courses that teach you about modules to analyse complex systems and biochemical
reaction engineering. This knowledge can be used during the project and help you to optimize it further. Because this master is also part of an international exchange programme, both your social and your engineering skills are crucial to obtain the right mix of group atmosphere and results-oriented dedication.
