Minor Cyber Security (Computing Science Specialisation)
The minor 'Cyber Security' enables students to bridge the gap between non-RU bachelor programmes and our master programme in Cyber Security.

Leerdoelen
As the minor prepares for the master Cyber Security, it contains introductory courses to areas that are typically lacking in the students' background, i.e., mathematics (e.g., calculus, linear algebra, formal reasoning), scientific research, and specialization courses.
These topics may not be suitable for every HBO student. In practice not every student that starts with our minor will finish it. Students need to carefully consider if they would be suitable for this minor, it's considerably more difficult than following courses at the HBO.
Ingangseisen
Third or fourth year's students from the Bachelor's of Applied Sciences Universities. Acceptable course programmes include, for example, computing science, electrical engineering, artificial intelligence, bio-informatics. If unsure about your eligibility for this minor please contact us.
Typical programmes that are not eligible are programmes like integrale veiligheid and security management when these are business administration oriented programmes.
