Leading people & culture in a changing world (English)
This minor offers an in-depth exploration of People, Culture and Leadership in different contexts, with attention to hospitality, diversity and sustainability. During this minor you will critically, creative and collaborative evaluate and reflect on the acquired knowledge and insights regarding ethical leadership and coaching skills. We focus on developing a hospitality mindset across industries in a rapidly changing world.
The foundation of this minor lies in self-reflection and evaluation of the acquired knowledge regarding People, Culture and Leadership. You will think critically about the impact of your leadership style on individuals and organizations, with a particular focus on ethics and sustainability. You will be guided by an academic and a professional coach with regard to your own development.
An inspiring challenge of this minor is the opportunity for every student to create an authentic individual portfolio.
Furthermore, this minor brings students together in diverse teams to co-create and share knowledge about the latest initiatives in People, Culture and Leadership. The focus is on a global sustainable perspective. The success of leading People & Culture requires effective collaboration. Through new media and technology you will share information in an innovative and inclusive way.
In this minor you apply your learned skills in concrete situations. As a team, you will provide advice on specific parts of the employee journey within an organization. You use both quantitative and qualitative analyses to formulate sound recommendations. This practical application offers you the opportunity to immediately apply your insights in practice.
After completing the minor, you will be able to create multiple value within various sectors based on the knowledge acquired, skills learned and attitude developed in the field of People, Culture and Leadership, with a hospitality mindset.

The student:
- evaluates and reflects on acquired knowledge and insights about ethical leadership and coaching skills that contribute to a critical, creative and collaborative mindset.
- creates an authentic individual professional product from a hospitality mindset about a topic of choice within the area of People, Culture and Leadership, applicable in cross-over contexts to add multiple value.
- collaborates in a diverse team to create and to share knowledge about trends in the areas of People, Culture & Leadership from a global sustainable perspective via new media / technology.
- advices, in a team, on a subject from the employee journey within an organization based on quantitative and qualitative analysis.
